-Greetings everyone! This month we're kicking off a newsletter series that will highlight significant developments in the Wiki-Translation community.

Nelson Ko and Patrice Weber nominated to the Tiki Admin Group (TAG)
-The Tiki Admin Group (TAG) is proud to announce the nominations of 2 new members, Nelson Ko (koth) and Patrice Weber (nyloth).
Both are very active contributors in the TikiWiki community and are key contributors to upcoming TikiWiki 1.10
TikiWiki CMS/Groupware 1.9.11 bug fix release
-Gary Cunningham-Lee and Xavier de Pedro nominated to the Tiki Admin Group (TAG)
-The Tiki Admin Group (TAG) is proud to announce the nominations of 2 new members, Gary Cunningham-Lee (chibaguy) and Xavier de Pedro (xavi).
Both have been long standing and active contributors in the TikiWiki community.
Beta testing of Tiki 1.10 now underway
-The next major version of TikiWiki CMS/Groupware is now undergoing beta testing in preparation for release. The current version being tested is Beta 1. If you want to help with beta testing, check out Branch110Beta for more information, or read what's new in Tikiwiki 1.10. Thanks to all who helped to test, debug, document, and package in the days prior to the beta release and thanks in advance to all doing further testing and documentation. This is a real community wide effort.
TikiWiki CMS/Groupware 1.9.10.1 - Security & bugfix release
-Tiki 1.9.10.1 (a quickfix of never released 1.9.10) was released on 2008-02-23.
Compared to 1.9.9, this release contains 78 code commits by franck, lphuberdeau, luciash, marclaporte, mose, nkoth and sylvieg from 2007-12-22 to 2008-02-23.
TikiFest Ottawa: TikiWiki heating up the winter cold.
-A month ago, on a cold winter day in Ottawa, Canada, ten of us gathered to work on TikiWiki. It was a hectic day, with many ongoing projects.
Tiki Listed in EContent Top 100
-TikiWiki has been named to the Seventh Annual EContent 100. The annual list contains the companies "that matter most in the digital content industry."
The wealth of new features and enhancements contained in the upcoming Release 1.10 will no doubt maintain Tiki's position as one of the best digital content and social media platforms.

CodeFest phpQuébec 2.0 : Microformats and MediaWiki to TikiWiki converter added
-This has been a very busy week-end in Montréal, Canada. 19 open source & open standards enthusiasts gathered for a week-end coding sprint. Many of them were working on enhancing TikiWiki.
