Re: Modules inside a div

posts: 400

I may be missing the point, but can you assign the modules themselves to the columns by going to Admin > Modules?

The modules that correspond to what you're looking for are Articles, Latest Changes, Newest Forum Posts. More information on assigning modules to columns can be found at Assigning Modules.

If you already know all of this and I've missed your point, just ask again.

I'm creating a homepage and I'm trying to have a left column with articles and a right column with modules for other features, but using the tools to create a wiki page I can't get those modules inside the HTML code for the columns.

I can make it look something like what I want with this:
Copy to clipboard
{ARTICLES(max=5,topicId=!5,largefirstimage=y, fullbody=n, sort=publishDate_desc)}{ARTICLES} {MODULE(module="last_modif_pages",notitle="n",float="right",decoration="1")}{MODULE} {MODULE(module="forums_last_posts",notitle="n",float="right")}{MODULE}

But it doesn't work as I want it too and I would like to know how can I have those modules inside a HTML code, or just get the code that those modules are made of to insert it as HTML.
