    I agree completly as I am the one that initiate this.... Is it also possible to do in the doc section a "css specificity" to a feature?

      Maybe it is New Math, but there are many precedents for numbering software releases this way. I had the same reaction as you at first, but there was a discussion in the forum or dev mailing list where examples of doing it this way were shown. I guess the key is to not think of the numbers to the right of the decimal point as a fraction, but as a distinct number sequence.
