Excellent progress has been achieved in developing so many rich features in tikiwiki. In order to help more people adopt this for building their websites, I would like to start a project that uses Protege to capture the ontology of tikiwiki. The major benefit of this endeavour will be that it can be used as a template to quickly build community web sites by writing an application to transform the model into a tikiwiki database.
The other benefit will be to the development team since they will have a model that will serve many purposes as well as allow re-use. Looking out farther, it can even
be used to import a tiki database into Protege to allow complex querying requiring reasoning.
