History: Finance Team

The Finance Team handles everything to do with accounting, and managing the assets of the Tiki Software Community Association (Ex.: domain names)

The Finance Team has none

Tasks (do and cross out)

• Review US gov procedures with respect to Affiliates
  • "W-8BEN: Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner for United States Tax Withholding"
• Setup affiliates for all Tiki-related books that are sold
• Investigate a Merchandising agreement for Tiki SWAG (mugs, t-shirts, pens, etc.)

Projects

• Evaluate Tiki Accounting for Dogfood use for the Tiki Software Community Association.
• Evaluate if/how/when we get setup to be able to receive tax-deductible donations?

• Explore programs of Potential funders
