We have an average image gallery (its getting better cos Damians working here 😉 ). It is possible to store pictures in filesystem or in database. As of 1.8.3 individual images can now be categorised making now Tiki almost perfect 😉

Ordering galleries in the gallery list
Uploading files > 2 MB
Thats not a RFE but a server configuration issue
Batch upload should not upload the ZIP file
of course it should, how else would you expect the server to unpack it!

Avire is the new leader in this category. It is an image gallery extension to Tiki based on the concept of Exhibitions. Unsure of licensing.

Damian: Id like to add better category support to the image galleries here, mainly allowing each image to be categorised as well as a gallery. That would solve all my image gallery problems. Oh these Image Scales need fixing on the file system too, After a brief look, the code only seems to get to check the database table. Who knows I might even get time myself soon 😉
