    Hello,

    i followed the InstallEasyPhpAndTiki installation guide (I run Win XP). I installed EasyPHP , then created tiki mySQL db, unfortunately i can't run tiki-install.php, and following error appears:

    Warning: main(Smarty/Smarty.class.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in c:\program files\easyphp\www\tiki\tiki-install.php on line 11

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'Smarty/Smarty.class.php' (include_path='.;C:\Program Files\EasyPHP\php\pear\') in c:\program files\easyphp\www\tiki\tiki-install.php on line 11


    in ..\EasyPHP\www\tiki\lib there is smarty dir ...
    what's really issue here? is EasyPHP missing Smarty ? is missing the setting of some path variable?
    Can anybody help?

    Seems you have a mixed up 1.7.x version and a 1.8.x version in the webroot folder. I would empty it and unzip a fresh 1.8.4.1.zip download from your favourite sourceforge mirror.

    thanks Damian, i used 1.8.4.1 package and now it is working fine, and no issue observed 😀

    Hi,

    I got the same Problem. But I have a new installation and a fresh download (Tikiwiki 1.7.9) and MySQL.

    any idias ?
