    Hi,

    Is there a way that you could do colspan in a column?? Eg,

    |Test messag| Test message|
    | AAA | BBB | CCC | DDDdd|


    Currently, colspan can only appear on the last column per the documentation.

    Ok....that's a lot of variation you got there....but still are you about to squeeze AAA and BBB under the first column, CCC and DDDdd under the second column and the rest of it remains unchange.

    HAve you tried with TikiSheets ?b (and the corresponding plugin to include them in a wiki page)
    (I haven't tried that myself, and they might be still a bit buggy, but I remember I saw the classical "merge" function on them. Give them a try! (Tiki 1.9.x)

    Hi xavidp, I have tried using ))TikiSheetsbut could not get it to display the table in the page. It only display a link "Edit Sheets". Any idea how to display the full table in the page?? I can't seems to to be able to select two cells to try out the merge function?? Is there a special trick to select multiple cells inTikiSheets((🙄

    See plugin SHEET. For instance:

    Copy to clipboard
    {SHEET(id=>4)}Sheet Heading{SHEET}


    Produces:

    Error loading spreadsheet

    "Merge" feature is working here at tw.o (1.9.cvs). I haven't tried with 1.9.0 (if it doesn't work, it might be a previous bug already solved in 1.9. cvs.
    First you have to select both cells you want to merge (I've done it by holding SHIT key, and cliking on both neighbour cells)

    WHEW!!

    I thought maybe Tiki Devs somehow managed to add a new to the keyboard. I kind of like the SHIT key, it could come in handy!!

    And it could come internationalized on other non-english keyboards (in Catalan or Spanish should be key double-k ("kk") 😉

    In the ))Tikisheet(( gallery, I do not see the id column and so unable to identify the id?? I'm using 1.9.0, so its that something that I forgot to set??

    Still, I have created one trial sheet (so I am assumed that it is id=1), but I still cannot get it to display like what I see from your posting...🙄 All I can see is the Edit Sheet Link.

    Any idea why to my 2 questions....thanks.

    Create or edit a page here at tw.o (your userpage, for instance) and play with the feature with already created TikiSheets, such the one in the example.

    Then, try to reproduce it in your localhost (or your server). Then, you'll know what Tikisheets really do and doesn't do, and what you are getting out of it (you might have differnret permissions on your tiki in your server, etc.)

    Click on a link to a tikisheet from the table from
    http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-sheets.php

    (there are not id's shown directly at the table, onlyu at url's). for instance, the one about LOCs:

    http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-view_sheets.php?sheetId=4

    Get the "id" from the url at the borwser, for instance.

    check that the tikisheet has content, that you have the adequate permissions on your tiki, etc. I don't know what to suggest for the little infromation about your problem. Add urls or screenshots of your trouble.

    Tried that on tw.o and it works silkly smmoth.

    When i replicate this on my localhost and server. I have full admin rights on the server so I do not think it is cause by The sheet does not show up...though if I click on the Edit Sheet link, it will show up with all the cells. Not too sure why?? Am I missing something here??

    You can see my scrrenshots at UserPagekwow. Not too sure if it can tell you any problem.....its a start. Thanks for your help.

    Hi kwow,

    Regardless of your condition of server admin (if this is what you meant), you need to check that you have the adequate "tiki" permissions:

    perms feature function
    tiki_p_admin_sheet sheet Can admin sheet
    tiki_p_edit_sheet sheet Can create and edit sheets
    tiki_p_view_sheet sheet Can view sheet
    tiki_p_view_sheet_history sheet Can view sheet history


    Ensure that your tiki user you are running as (whichever it is, even if it's the "admin" initial user) has the needed right in its group (seems as if tiki_p_view_sheet was missing for the group of that user?)

    The last thing I can think of is that you were using an theme style from older tiki distros (1.8.x, at the most), that hasn't been updated with the css information for tikisheets.
    Try showing your tikisheet page in a different theme style (such as moreneat or tikineat).

    If none of this helps to solve the "mistery", I would suggest to report a bug at http://dev.tikiwiki.org (unless any other user or admin get's where the problem may be)

    Sorry to let you guess...what I meant was that I have assigned Tiki Admin rights to myself, so I guess that will mean that I can admin ))TikiSheet(( including view and edit rights. Anyway, I have check all the checked boxes just in case.

    Thanks for the encouragement, unfortunately I think I will need more than luck...😉 I will wait a while before reporting a bug to see if anybody can advise or has the same exprience as me...
