    A strange thing's happening with my registration procedure:

    The prospective user will fill all the required fields (username, password, mail etc), will also fill the re-captcha field (as required) and will press register.

    Then what user gets is the same registration box, with username, password etc. already filled in and a new (different) re-captcha code. He / she will think that he / she didn't submitted the first one correctly and will try to re-register. Of course will get the message "user already exists" (registration was perfectly fine the first time).

    Instead of that, user should have got a message like "thanks for you registration, administrator will validate you soon" etc. etc.

    Right?

    I took away the re-captcha thing to test - not, this was not the problem.

    Still the user will see the same registration window, with fields filled in, after pressing "register". So will try to register again.

    Could at least someone confirm / not confirm that behavior? I am thinking perhaps tiki 11.00 caused that? Don't remember same problem before upgrading.

    I think your problem may be caused by User Tracker not being completely set up.

    In Admin Home -> Log in, do you have the option "Use tracker to collect more user information" set?

    If you do, in Admin -> Groups, when you edit the group Registered, do you have your user tracker named in the "User Information Tracker" field?

    Do you have the ID of at least one of your user tracker fields specified in "Users Information Tracker Fields Asked at Registration Time"?

    When I have "Use tracker to collect more user information" set, and then do not put any tracker field IDs in the "Users Information Tracker Fields Asked at Registration Time" field, then my registration acts the same as you are describing.

    I think that if you have "Use tracker to collect more user information", then you must have at least 1 tracker field ID in "Users Information Tracker Fields Asked at Registration Time".

    Right!

    You are absolutely right, I had decided to use some trackers, had checked the box, tried them, removed them but then didn't un-check the box.

    Still is some type of bug, I guess, for the system should not expect any trackers (if they are not set), but nevertheless my problem's solved.
