More Newbie questions

Okay, you guys and the great work have almost gotten me away from ColdFusion & Fusebox ... here are a couple of basic questions. Can standard html templates be dropped in or easily modified for use? AND more inportantly... I would like to do the majority of the site development on-line but behind a password system for the complete site! Is there an easy way to achieve this then quickly drop the password for the complete site leaving only specific sections protected based on differing group roles? i.e. Group1 will have access to these pages, group2 to these pages.

Hope I'm clear, thanks in advance!!!!

Hi again,

Damian thinks its about time others joined in the forums 😉

We have Smarty templates, kind of like HTML with variables for the content. You can read up on smarty at http://smarty.php.net

As to the closed site, you can close it via Admin->General and only allow a certain group with permission access.

In the same way, using Groups you can permission up individual sections, pages, forums, or whatever object has a key symbol.
