    I would like to ask if there are any plans to introduce the kind of cleaning and opening in tikiwiki that is an aspect of tikipro? I work with both, and often enough wish that they were more alike.

    Tikiwiki has a feature depth and community that is superior, but TikiPro is far easier to customize and understand, and far more efficient to deploy, maintain, and run (at least the parts of it that are completed).

    The fundamental differences are pretty straightfoward in the architecture that they use, but will they ever be more similar?

    Last I heard, we hope to make 1.10 a clean-up/optimization/butcher-tikilib 😁 release. redflo is one of the developers who plans to begin the proccess soon.

    I don't know enough about TikiPro to comment on that part of your question.

    TikiWiki and TikiPro are seperate and will not merge. Just choose which one that your happy with.

    The only advantage I see it having (in terms of user type stuff) is the forums. In all else I prefer tikiwiki 😕
