    I installed 1.7.1.1 a couple of days ago, since then I have been wrestling with a number of problems.

    1. Avatars don't stick past the current session
    2. Country does the same
    3. At random userid/psswd comes back and says error then works
    4. Uploading doesn't work after filling all the details in tiki-upload_file.php the system just sits there and eventually comes back with "..../tiki-upload_file.php not found" this is using db for storage, file directory doesn't matter small file

    4. ended with small file less than 10k

    Finished by saying that I am very frustrated want to have the basic stuff working so I can migrate from all the bits and pieces running at the mo.

    Hmmmm solved one problem viz uploads, it would appear that Tiki gets very upset running behind a sat setup.

    My setup is...

    | OneWay Sat +
    | |--- WinRoutePRO +++++ LAN +++ My Machine
    | Modem +

    If I access via the machine running the Sat connection I can upload, try it from my machine just carks it without any answer.
