Problem installing on w2k with iis

I'm trying to install tiki version 1.85.
I'm installing it on a windows 2000 based server with IIS, PHP4 and
MySql.

I've alreay created the DB in MySql and i tested the PHP with a
test page i've found on the tiki site and it's working too.

Right now, when i'm accessing the tiki-install.php page i get an
error message saying:

Tiki Installer cannot proceed:
The directory '/temp/cache' does not exist.

I've tried to create the 'cache' folder manully, but that didn't
help, i only get a blank page when i access the install page.
Does anyone have a clue what i should do to make it work?

I do not know the answer to your question, but just wanted to add that I have TW 1.8.5 running great on windows 2000 and I use EasyPHP which installs PHP + Apache + MySQL (w/ phpMyAdmin) in one shot.

Did you set the correct rights to the folder for IUSR_ and IWAM_?

Make sure your PHP has a valid path setup for session.save_path I usually create a c:\tmp

Also increase the memory limit art82 to more than 8Mb. Depending on how you configured PHP with your IIS it can use excessive amounts of memory 😑
