Problem with custom menu Posted by Josephine Tan 27 Jul 2005 08:33 GMT-0000 posts: 84 I have created several custom menus with options to link to certain wiki pages. However, the menu options are not displaying. 🙁 Had the same problem a few months ago. Somehow, the options later appeared. ❓ What should i do now?

The problem seems to be the fact that I have been assigning my menu options to a custom group. Once I assign the menu options to "Registered", the options all appear just fine. Why this is so, I don't know though.

Most of my menu items are assigned to custom groups, and they work fine (and this is how it should be), so it seems there may be something else causing the problem with your menu. If your present arrangement works OK, then no problem, but if you want menu item visibility to be based on custom groups, it is actually possible but I suppose will require some detective work there to see what's not set up right. -- Gary

Kinda of a strange that the you have to manually entered the group instead of the usual drop down box filled with already assigned groups.... Does entering Registered or registered matter?? I have noticed that the custom menu created does not match the menu bar at the top of the page when I have this option enabled. Is this normal?? Maybe I am asking for too much here....😀 --kwow
