    I thought I had this problem licked last night, but it's back. Whenever I click on "View Info" for users, or try to access "preferences," the system locks (gets stuck loading a page.) I can't figure out what's wrong, and it's really embarrassing (I'm trying to teach this setup to my class). Please help!

    Even weirder..Okay, this must be a pretty deep-set bug. It started working fine an hour later. I don't know what I did wrong before to make it hang...Seems to be almost random--sometimes working, other times not.

    Ok, heres an idea:

    On the user perferences page is a URL link. if that url points to another host on the same vhost machine it will have to wait for a timeout or a connection refused.

    TIkiWIki caches external links 😊 Im unsure about the user-preferences tho, but I would have thought there too.
